Bring your pup this Saturday from 11-2 for an outing at Belknap Park!
Come join us and have some delicious Taylor BBQ, West Sixth beer or Tikiz ice cream. We would love to see our adopted alumni's happy faces, reminding us of why animal rescue is so important!
All event goers receive one free bandana per family while they last. There will also be booths offering a variety of items for people and pets, such as: an agility course, dog training demonstration, bouncy slide, dog contests, a bubble table(for kids and dogs!), music and a short walk lead by the Richins Family(the founders of the "Be Kind" signs).
Our emcee is TV personality, Gladys Bautista from WLKY!
A suggested $10 donation will get you in for lots of fun. All proceeds will benefit the Humane Society of Oldham County and less fortunate animals in our area.
   Don't miss the fun!
All dogs must be socialized and on a leash.
We are so grateful to the below sponsors for making Paws in the Park possible!

We're so close to moving into our new building! We will be having a Grand Opening on Saturday, October 30th!
Our new building is located at 2601 Interior Way in LaGrange, off of Commerce Parkway and behind Rocket Storage.
We will send an email with more details closer to the event.
Hope to see you there!

We held a "sneak peek" of our new building on September 26th. Check out the WDRB link below to see some great shots of our new home!

Some very special kitties need a home!
Are you the person they've been looking for?

Meet Handsome(Gray male), Beautiful(black DMH male), Cutie(black DSH male), and Sweetie(black DSH female)! They are all looking for a very special home, do you have room in your heart for them?
These four siblings all are the sweetest, most playful kittens! They are all very healthy now, unfortunately, all of them have tested positive for Feline Leukemia(FeLv.)
Feline Leukemia is a disease that compromises the immune system. It is possible for a cat to not show symptoms of Feline Leukemia for many years, or to maybe never show symptoms(regressive infection). Also, it is possible for tests to show false positives. They will need further testing at six months old, which is something we would cover the cost of. As FeLv can be passed to other cats, positive cats should not be around cats that are free from the infection.
Please read this link for more in depth information.
They are around four months old and are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV.
If you would like to meet them, please send an adoption application here.
Adoption applications can be found on our website.

Don't miss our next Facebook Virtual Yard Sale! Check out our Facebook page anytime after 7pm Monday, October 11th for some great deals! The post will be active until Monday October 18th.
