Paws in the Park had everyone's tails waggin'!
Thanks to North Oldham Lions Club, those who came out, our Sponsors and all of the great vendors. If you didn't make it, we'll see you next year!
Here are some fun photos from the event

Finding a Lucky Penny

Penny was surrendered back to us by the original adopter earlier this year. Kathy and her dog, Brady, stopped by our office back in June. She and her husband Terry had recently lost two dogs, Holly and Nicky, and decided Brady needed a canine companion.
Brady and Penny bonded immediately.  Kathy called her husband and they decided to foster her that day.
Penny had a lump on her ankle that was growing. Unfortunately, it was diagnosed as a Mast Cell Tumor and her leg had to be amputated due to the location of the growth.
This did not discourage Kathy and Terry  ~ they loved Penny from day one and decided she was to be part of their family.
We are so fortunate to have people like this in our community. This story could’ve had a very different ending without them.
