4 Paws 4 Service Program
Please give to HSOC's "4 Paws 4 Service" program to supply Shane with a trained service dog!
You may have caught the story of Shane Roof on WHAS news last month.
He went from being a normal 14 year old boy to being paralyzed from the neck down. Attributed to AFM (Acute Flaccid Myelitis) this polio like disease is attacking children and left Shane's family wondering if he would ever walk again!
Shanes parents have a wish - to see him go back to school for his senior year and graduate with his class. He can do that and so much more with the help of a service dog.
This dog will help with stability, mobility, emotional well-being and be a new best friend to Shane.
Please help Shane to become more independent by donating now to the Humane Society of Oldham County's 4 Paws 4 Service Program. We hope to raise at least $6,000 to cover the entire cost of Shane's new service dog. If our goal is met and surpassed, the extra money will remain in that account to be available for the next "4 Paws 4 Service" recipient that might need a little help with the cost of their service dog.
