Low Cost Spay/Neuter & Vaccine Clinics

The Humane Society of Oldham County is offering low-cost spay, neuter and vaccine clinics as a way to help the current over-pet population. You do not have to live in Oldham County. ​Click the book appointment button below to schedule today.


 Due to the facial structure of the following breeds, Pugs, Bulldogs, Boston Terriers and Frenchies, we are not able to perform the altering procedure.  We recommend these breeds receive services from a full service veterinary. Dobermans and Bengal Cats are also on this list due to the bleeding disorder some may carry.  Our weight limit for altering dogs is 80# due to our clinic staff's safety with lifting.

CANINE INFLUENZA

We recommend your dog be fully vaccinated for the Canine Influenza virus prior to coming to our clinic for their appointment. If your dog is showing signs of Influenza (coughing, sneezing, Lethargy) – do not bring them to the appointment. Please call us and we will reschedule you for a later visit.

Additional Clinic Notes

  • Surgery available for dogs under 80lbs.
  • We must decline surgery for flat-faced pets such as Pugs, Bulldogs, Boston Terriers, and Frenchies.
  • Due to the bleeding disorder that some Dobermans carry we are not able to see them for surgical procedures

These clinics are geared for healthy pets and are not a replacement for a full service veterinary clinic.
